Wash holds fundraiser for tuberculosis charity

TODMORDEN, ENGLAND — A carwash invited drivers to bring their vehicles in for a clean to help raise money for charity.

TODMORDEN, ENGLAND — For every car that is washed at the Hydro hand carwash, a percentage of the purchase will be donated to a charity called TB Alert, Todmorden News reported.

The Oct. 5 story stated that the fundraiser is part of owner Kieran Hardman’s crusade to help bring about awareness of TB Alert, a charity which seeks to find a cure for tuberculosis.

Water restrictions prevent charity carwashes

Hardman is also planning an epic journey, cycling from England to South Africa to raise awareness for TB Alert.
