Wash supports K9s for Warriors Golf Tournament

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. — Prizes include two annual unlimited plans from Rio Car Wash and two full mobile details from Rio Mobile Detail.

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. — Rio Car Wash will support K9s for Warriors during its annual golf tournament May 21-22, according to a press release.

Rio will provide nearly $1,000 in rewards for the tournament winners, noted the release. Prizes include two annual unlimited plans from Rio Car Wash and two full mobile details from Rio Mobile Detail.

“K9s For Warriors provides service canines to veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress and/or traumatic brain injury as a result of military service post 9/11,” shared the release. The goal is to “[empower] warriors to return to civilian life with dignity and independence.”

Participants can sign up for one or two days of play in the tournament, stated the release. The entry fee is $85 per person, per day.

Rio Car Wash was founded in 1995, reported the release. Its fifth location is scheduled to open later this year in Lynn Haven, Virginia.
