LUBBOCK, Texas — Mighty Wash carwash is participating in the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s (MDA) annual shamrock fundraiser, according to a press release.
Customers can purchase shamrocks at the carwash to benefit MDA until March 17, reported the release. The effort will benefit adults and children affected by the disease.

Mighty Wash will also donate a portion of the proceeds from all washes March 6 and 7 to local MDA clinics, stated the release. These clinics serve area families who would otherwise have to drive to Dallas for treatment.
MDA is dedicated to finding cures for muscular dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and other neuromuscular diseases, noted the release.
