LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Zips Car Wash is extending its grand opening celebration in Rockingham, North Carolina, with seven additional days of free carwashes in exchange for canned goods, according to a press release.
Zips Car Wash will send all non-perishable food items collected at the carwash from July 29th through Aug. 4th to support Our Daily Bread Food Ministry, the release continued.
“As we open this new store, we want to take the opportunity to give back to the community we serve,” said David Cook, regional manager for Zips Car Wash. “We’ll be offering seven more days of free carwashes and discounts on our Unlimited plans, but we ask that customers bring canned goods and other non-perishable food items to our location at 1704 B East Broad Ave. in Rockingham to contribute to the cause of bettering their community during these last days of our celebration.”
“We’re working every day to get to know other business leaders, neighbors, and community organizers to see how we can get involved to help the residents of Rockingham,” said Brett Overman, founder and CEO of Zips Car Wash. “We’re excited to be here and can’t wait to see how the community shows up to support in this endeavor for the Our Daily Bread Food Bank,” Overman added.
