LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Zips Car Wash has announced the acquisition of seven stores from Champion Xpress Car Wash in and around Roswell, New Mexico, and San Angelo, Texas, according to a press release.
“We’re excited to bring these high-quality, successful operations into the Zips family and to begin to offer our unique culture of carwashing to customers in West Texas and New Mexico,” said Katie Sargent, regional manager for Zips Car Wash, who has also been recognized as one of the top Women in Carwashing by the International Car Wash Association. “This expansion will allow us to serve customers with our Unlimited Wash Club and other special offerings, which can be used at our more than 170 stores.”
According to the release, Zips’ newest locations are:
- 3616 N. Main St., Roswell, NM 88201
- 1101 S. Main St., Roswell, NM 88203
- 4101 Olton Rd., Plainview, TX 79072
- 2704 N. Bryant Blvd., San Angelo, TX 76903
- 3402 Knickerbocker Rd., San Angelo, TX 76904
- 4106 Sherwood Way, San Angelo, TX 76901
- 3101 N. Prince St., Clovis, NM 88101.
“As we grow, we’re gaining a better understanding of the different customers we serve — from once-a-year carwash consumers to biweekly customers,” said Sargent. “And with this data, we’re making our services affordable and convenient for every type of carwash user.”
Zips hopes its new customers in these markets will sign up for its Rewards App, whereupon they will receive a free wash just for signing up, the release concluded; once a $100 threshold is reached, additional freebies will roll into consumers’ apps.
