Wash Away Thirst is a community of carwash owners, vendors and clean car enthusiasts coming together to do something good, according to its website
In honor of the recently celebrated World Water Day on March 22, Wash Away Thirst partnered with the carwash industry and supporters to “bring clean water to people in need,” notes its website.
The organization’s we site also reports that more than $40,000 has been donated to water projects in Guatemala and Africa since Wash Away Thirst was founded in 2009.
This year’s campaign, which ended March 31, raised more than $15,000 in direct donations for the cause.
