CHICAGO — A new Gerber Collision & Glass recently opened in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, according to a press release.
The launch follows the acquisition of Deacon’s Collision Center on Oct. 16, stated the release.
“We are thrilled to be joining the Gerber team,” said Tom Deacon, manager of the Mayfield Heights center, in the release. “We can assure our customers that they will continue to receive the best service and the highest quality of repairs, using the latest innovations in processes and technology.”
Mayfield Heights is an eastern suburb within Cleveland, added the release.
Located on a high traffic thoroughfare, reported the release, the repair center is the Boyd Group Inc.’s first location in the Cleveland metropolitan area.
“This location provides us with a key foothold in the Cleveland area,” stated Tim O’Day, president and chief operating officer of the Boyd Group’s U.S. operations, in the release. “We look forward to serving new customers and our insurance partners in the region with our high-quality and friendly service.”
Directly and through subsidiaries, the Boyd Group operates non-franchised collision repair centers in North America, noted the release, with locations in five Canadian provinces under the trade name Boyd Autobody & Glass as well as with centers in 18 U.S. states under the trade name Gerber Collision & Glass.
