Industry gathers at NRCC 2016

ATLANTIC CITY — NRCC 2016 delivered a comprehensive program to help carwashes be more successful.

ATLANTIC CITY — The 27th annual Northeast Regional Carwash Convention (NRCC 2016), which concluded yesterday in Atlantic City, New Jersey, featured innovative products on display, expansive networking and in-depth educational opportunities for those in attendance.

With a theme of “Driving A Brighter Future,” the educational seminars and keynote address included topics that ranged from motivational business best practices to social media for beginners.

The event, which began in Newport, Rhode Island, and gradually grew to become one of the largest regional carwash shows in the country, is comprised of five regional carwash associations — the New England Carwash Association (NECA), the New York State Car Wash Association (NYSCWA), the Connecticut Carwash Association (CCA), the Car Wash Operators of New Jersey (CWONJ) and the Mid-Atlantic Carwash Association (MCA).

The New England Carwash Association was the host association for NRCC 2016 and Ron Bousquet of Randy’s Car Washes was the appointed chairman.

“This [show] has grown tremendously since our first tabletop show,” said Bousquet at Tuesday’s Awards Luncheon. “We would like to thank all of you who come to support it. We strive to have the best show ever every year — that is our goal.”

The Most Distinguished Person award and the Hall of Fame award were presented at the luncheon and a raffle was also held for free registration to NRCC 2017.

Be sure to look out for the complete recap in the November issue of Professional Carwashing & Detailing magazine.
