Automechanika Jeddah 2016 exhibition space fully booked

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia — Automechanika Jeddah 2016 is scheduled to take place Jan. 26-28 at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events.

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia — Organizers of Automechanika Jeddah 2016 announced that exhibition space is fully booked, according to a press release.

The three-day event is organized by Messe Frankfurt Middle East, in partnership with Saudi Arabia-based Al-Harithy Company for Exhibitions (ACE), and is the 15th global installment of Automechanika, stated the release.

Automechanika Jeddah 2016, Saudi Arabia’s dedicated automotive aftermarket trade show, is scheduled to take place Jan. 26-28 at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events, continued the release.

The event, reported the release, will feature more than 150 exhibitors and span approximately 76,424 square feet (7,100 square meters).

According to research from analysts Frost & Sullivan, informed the release, Saudi Arabia’s demand for commercial vehicle spare parts is forecast to reach $3.65 billion by 2020, a compound annual growth rate of 10 percent, which comprises 66 percent of the region’s total demand.

“It gives us great pleasure to bring Automechanika — the world’s premier automotive aftermarket trade event — to Saudi Arabia,” said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Messe Frankfurt Middle East, in the release. “The robust response from [international], local and regional exhibitors to this inaugural edition confirms the tremendous potential that exists in the Saudi market and the need that was felt by the industry for a truly representative trade and networking platform.”

Automechanika Jeddah 2016 will focus on five core product sections, noted the release, which include: accessories and tuning, repair and maintenance, parts and systems, tires and batteries, and service stations and carwashes.
