Automechanika Kuala Lumpur expects more than 6,000 visitors

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Economic conditions and trade agreements contribute to a growing ASEAN car care market.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Automechanika Kuala Lumpur, to be held March 19-21, 2015, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, expects a 73 percent increase in European exhibition space, according to a press release.

Entering its second year, the trade show targets visitors from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), said the release.

More European countries—including Italy, Bulgaria and Poland—are participating than before, noted the release. More of the continent’s countries are expected to sign up in the coming months.

According to the release, the Malaysian market’s stability continues to attract companies from around the world. In Malaysia there are 341 cars per 1,000 people, so there is strong aftermarket potential for auto components and accessories firms.

Trade agreements including the Malaysia-Turkey Free Trade Agreement provide a platform for greater trade between the regions, stated the release. The show’s European pavilion offers exhibitors special upgrades on booth design and other bespoke services.

Reaching new reclaim heights

There is a lot of variety in the carwash industry. Not only are there different types of washes, but the design, equipment, chemistry, staffing and service can greatly vary from one site to the next. However, there’s one non-negotiable constant in every wash: Water.

Since water — and lots of it — is so essential to this industry, it only makes sense to strive for ways to maximize every single drop. That’s where the reclaim process comes in. Collecting, rehabilitating and reusing as much water as possible is essential to protect the environment, the availability of resources and a carwash’s bottom line. That’s why industry leaders are currently driving innovation to find ways to reclaim even more water than ever.
