MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP, MI — One carwash here will now clean more than vehicles after adding a dog wash area, UpperMichigansSource.com reported.
The Jan. 17 story stated that the Wilderness Car Wash location attached a separate room for customers’ canine friends to get wash. There is a wash tub and hose that provides shampoo, conditioner and soaps.

"There's a lot of dogs in the community, so we figured this would be a perfect place for pets to get washed," employee Mason Moyle said in the story. "A lot of people don't like making a mess in their house bathrooms and cleaning up after their dog after a tub, so we figured this would be a perfect place."
A dog wash costs $7, and customers can get a treat for their dog as well. The pet area is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Entrepreneur adds pet wash to self-serve location
The dog wash is currently on available at the Wilderness Car Wash site here, but employees hope to expand the service to their other locations.
