MANASSAS, Va. — According to www.fox5dc.com, an employee at Soaps and Suds Carwash died after being struck in a chain-reaction crash.
Officers from Prince William County Sherriff’s Office said that a 19-year-old, male employee was attempting to move a Jeep Grand Cherokee from the back entrance of the carwash after it had been washed, but as it moved forward, it struck a Dodge Ram, which then hit a Scion XD, the article continued.
Then, investigators reported, the car struck Paula Margarita Rogel, 38, a female employee, who was in the parking lot, the article noted.
Rogel was taken to a local hospital, but she later died from her injuries, the article added.
In addition, a 56-year-old, female customer also incurred minor injuries when she moved to avoid the collision, the article stated.
The owner of the Jeep stayed at the scene and was not involved in the accident, the article noted.
The sheriff’s office stated the cause of the accident is still under investigation, the article concluded.
