Evans is a West St. Augustine native who has built a successful mobile detailing business in the St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra area, but now with a brick and mortar location, his has the needed clean, indoor environment required to apply highly sensitive ceramic coatings and paint protection film, the release continued.

Evans recently announced his being awarded a Detailing Business, Paint Correction, Headlight Repair and Ceramic Coatings Certification from Detailing Success in Big Bear, California, as well as dual certifications (CD SV) from the International Detailing Association (IDA) — all in preparation for growing his business model, the release noted.

“The automotive industry offers car and truck owners advanced technology that helps them preserve their automotive investment,” said Evans. “You pay more for a car and keep it longer, so it is important to take care of it. There are a lot of innovative products and services available to help customers do just that, and I want ProShine to be that go-to place.”

ISTOBAL participates in NADA Show 2018 aiming to grow in the auto dealers sector

LAS VEGAS — ISTOBAL will participate in NADA Show 2018 aiming to grow in the auto dealers sector with the ISTOBAL M1, the most competitive rollover targeted to auto dealers, fleets and some c-stores, according to a company press release.

Through its US subsidiary, ISTOBAL will attend this show from March 23-25 in Las Vegas at booth 5210C to present its latest innovations adapted to the American market, the release continued.

ISTOBAL is attending this show backed up by the positive results achieved in the U.S. last year, the release noted.

ISTOBAL USA subsidiary increased its turnover more than 20 percent in 2017 and is one of the main export markets for the multinational Group, the release reported.

ISTOBAL USA CEO Jimmy Sisk stated, “Our strength and reputation in the U.S. have improved as we continue to provide innovative, quality products to all segments of the washing Industry. Commercial washing systems revenue doubled from 2016 to 2017, with this segment looking very promising for our continued growth and diversification.”

Regarding the prospects for 2018, Sisk added, “Further increases come from the strengthening of our distributor network, sales to auto dealers as well as increased sales to oil companies.”

Sisk highlighted the NADA Show as the “best meeting point to present our ISTOBAL M1 rollover, standing for its modern design, durability and ease of function to achieve the quality and effective wash demanded by the auto dealerships.”

Custom Express Car Wash opens with ambitious plans

FARGO, N.D. — According to www.wday.com, Custom Express Car Wash opened on Feb. 1st at 4682 32nd Ave. S. and has ambitious plans.

“Custom Express Car Wash is not here to participate. They’re here to take over the Fargo-Moorhead area,” said Owner Jason Gehrig, adding that the carwash has already received a warm welcome to the area. “Two weeks ago, we washed almost 800 cars in one day. We’re averaging 300-400 cars a day, minimum.”

Gehrig noted that such efficiency is a result of using a conveyor-belt based system, the article continued.

“You don’t have to worry about chain and rollers scratching your rims. You’re in and out in minutes,” stated Gehrig, who also owns and operates Fargo Custom Truck and Auto Shine, which he described as the area’s largest truck and auto reconditioning and collision center.

Gehrig alluded to his desire to open more Custom Express Car Washes in the coming years, but he has no definite plans at this time, the article noted.

According to Gehrig, the carwash can run 150 vehicles per hour, the article continued, and it offers a number of unlimited wash packages with prices starting at $29.95.

Don’s Car Washes, perhaps Gehrig’s biggest competitor, the article noted, has been in business in the area for many years, but the company isn’t worried, according to Dan Durr, president and CEO of Don’s Car Washes.

Durr claimed that several carwashes in the area offer conveyor-belt washes similar to Custom Express and that the local population is large enough to sustain multiple businesses, the article added.

“Fargo is big enough to support several carwashes. I wish him the best of luck,” Durr said of Gehrig.

Auto Wash opens new location

BATAVIA, N.Y. — According to www.thedailynewsonline.com, Auto Wash, a third-generation, family-owned business started in 1981, opened its new location at 4017 W. Main St. in February.

Auto Wash’s location was formerly occupied by Country Falls Car Wash, and Owner Bobby Marchenese said he was happy to revitalize the site, the article continued.

“It was vacant for five or more years,” Bobby Marchenese said. “This was just sitting empty. We saw the ‘For Sale’ sign, and we bought it. We gutted the place. We put brand-new equipment in. [The facility is now] pretty much brand-new except for the walls.”

Marchenese added that Auto Wash is bigger and better at the new location, operating as an exterior carwash with such services as automated pay stations that can do promotions and an unlimited wash club, free vacuuming, an automated towel-drying process, on-line tire dressing and a flash wax system.

“Our most popular service is the Wash Club, which starts at only $20 per month for unlimited washes. An RFID sticker is placed in the windshield of the vehicle and it works similar to an EZ Pass system. Once a member, you may wash as often as you like,” Marchenese said.

Auto Wash also has locations in Auburn, Canandaigua, Geneva and Tonawanda, the article concluded.
