SHAWNEE, Kan. — With increased temperatures, the sales at carwashes in Kansas are expected to increase as well, according to station KMBZ.
Starting Thursday, Olympic Car Wash is bracing for some busy days. The wash has 12 employees scheduled to deal with the madness that comes with warm weather during the cold season.
The owner of the business, Scott Besch, said that this is actually his busiest time of the year.
“When we have one of these events where we transition from very cold temperatures to very warm temperatures, it will be exciting, it will be stressful at the same time probably,” said Besch.
He expects long lines throughout the weekend, and especially on Saturday.
