CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Autobell Car Wash Inc. received the 2015 Sustain Charlotte Award in the Water Quality and Conservation category, according to a press release.
The honor represents Autobell’s 12th environmental award since 2000, noted the release. All of the company’s locations treat 100 percent of wash water, and they recycle 80 to 100 percent. Some facilities reclaim 100 percent of the water.

Sustain Charlotte is a nonprofit that educates, engages and unites citizens to solve local sustainability challenges, stated the release.
Autobell was founded in 1969, reported the release. It has 69 locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia.
