Water management company expands into the carwash industry

SPOKANE, Wash. — APANA’s integrated software and hardware helps businesses identify and eliminate unnecessary water use and contamination in their buildings and operations.

SPOKANE, Wash. — APANA™ announced the launch of a new corporate website as well as the hiring of sales and technical talent, according to a press release.

The automated water management company also announced the addition of new channel partners and growth into new vertical customer segments, stated the release, including food and beverage, hotel and resort, carwash and education sectors as well as the horizontal cooling tower segment.

The company is moving into a more accelerated period of growth based on the successful deployment of over 130 APANA systems in the U.S. and internationally, reported the release, which have saved customers tens of millions of gallons of water.

As part of that expansion, continued the release, APANA recently added Kristie Lanum as operations director and expanded the sales team by bringing on two top performers, Keith Bass and Eric Glerum, who most recently worked with Ecova, a leading energy management and sustainability company.

Bass was a founding member of Ecova, part of ENGIE, where he introduced innovative products and services, added the release.

APANA has also added new partnerships in channel sales and financing, informed the release, including PAR Group, a plumbing and HVAC services company, and Noesis, a lending marketplace.

Through Noesis, stated the release, commercial buildings now have financing options available for APANA’s water management solution.

Furthermore, reported the release, APANA has expanded its customer base from retail, supermarket and grocery into new industries, including the carwash market.

Customers will be able to get the latest on APANA’s solution on its new website, continued the release, including a demo video, a new assessment tool and an e-book on water management by Frank Burns, president and co-founder of APANA.

“Water risk to business has become a front-burner issue at the operational level and in the executive suite; and companies ignore it at their own peril,” said Matt Rose, co-founder and CEO of APANA, in the release. “By augmenting our team, increasing our online profile and growing both customers and partners, APANA is ready to accelerate its leadership in the under-served area of water management for commercial and industrial business.”

APANA’s integrated software and hardware helps businesses identify and eliminate unnecessary water use and contamination in their buildings and operations, noted the release.
