LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — On Dec, 6th, Zips Car Wash acquired Carbux Car Wash, one of the largest and fastest growing carwash operators in the country, according to a company press release.
The acquisition of four Carbux locations in Jacksonville, Florida, means Zips Car Wash now operates 59 locations in nine states, the release continued, 44 of which were acquired in 2016, which represents record growth for Zips.
“Our growth in 2016 has surpassed our initial goals for the year and has made us the third largest chain of carwashes,” said Zips Car Wash Chairman and Founder Brett Overman.
Zips Car Wash plans to continue to grow its footprint in Jacksonville with the same relentless commitment to customer service and safety, while making a difference in the local community, the release stated.
The chain offers an Unlimited Wash Program so consumers can experience the benefits of frequent carwashing for one low monthly fee, the release added; this program will also be available to Jacksonville residents.
“We are extremely excited to be in the Jacksonville market. Carbux operates great washes and has an excellent reputation in the community. We are very excited to bring the Zips brand to North Florida,” said Overman.
Headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas, the Zips Car Wash Team will work to rebrand and bring the Zips operations model to its Jacksonville locations, the release stated.
Overman adds, “We will continue to put emphasis on our Zips team members and look forward to providing clean, shiny, dry cars to Jacksonville customers,” said Brett Overman.
