LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Zips Car Wash announced the acquisition of Wiki Wiki Car Wash’s eight locations in North Carolina, according to a press release.
Zips also acquired two parcels of land with plans to develop two new, state-of-the-art facilities in the near future, the release continued.
The acquisition brings Zips to 166 car wash locations, 17 of which are located in North Carolina, the release noted.
“We’ve admired the success of Wiki Wiki Car Wash over the last few years and can’t wait to bring their expertise to our growing team and unique business model,” said Brett Overman, founder and CEO of Zips Car Wash. “While our company is growing at an extremely fast pace, we still work closely together like a small business and couldn’t reach our accomplishments without the help of our entire team. Charlotte is a rapidly growing area with so much potential for us to invest in the community and extend our services across the state, especially for Unlimited Wash Club members,” he added.
With this acquisition, Zips will also develop two new facilities in Kannapolis and Greensboro, North Carolina, the release stated.
Zips Car Wash also recently built three new stores in Georgia and Kentucky, the release noted.
“Developing new sites from the ground up allows us to build with the best layout for the property in mind, install the best equipment and serve customers in brand new facilities,” added Overman. “With our team combined, we have hundreds of years of carwashing experience at our finger tips, and they’re instrumental to our growth and success,” he said.
