ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates — The owners of Ibex Car Care used their own designs to create equipment for their mobile carwash company.
Alawi Alsaqqaf and his cousin came up with the idea after car sales in the United Arab Emirates have increased rapidly over the past few years, noted the article.
Ibex’ equipment uses two liters of water per wash, reported the article. The trolleys use mist instead of hoses to spray soap and water.
The company also markets its service as a time-saver, stated the article. It sells its trolleys to households and business as well.

The owners financed the business through personal loans, and they hope to receive additional support from the Khalifa Fund, set up in 2007 to support entrepreneurs, shared the article.
“So far, we have one branch operating and four are in the pipeline,” said Alsaqqaf in the article. We are planning to have 60 car cleaners in 10 sites by the end of this year.”
