DAVENPORT, Iowa — A downtown area is expected to receive new business when 10 different projects renovate older buildings, according to the Quad-City Times.
The projects “are expected to add at least 468 units of commercial and housing to the downtown,” said the article.

One of the projects will convert a building into loft space renting from $900 to $1,500, stated the article. Tenants will have access to a car and dog wash, move theater, brewery, grocery store and pool.
Many of the developers were awarded state tax credits for their projects, noted the article.
