At-home washing restricted in MA

MIDDLEBORO, MA — At-home carwashing has been restricted here, effective immediately, a SouthCoastToday.com story said.

The May 3 story said the restrictions are in effect until Sept. 30. It also includes the washing of exterior buildings and parking lots.

At-home water usage will only be allowed on even or odd days, depending on the house number.

The story did say that commercial carwashes were to be used instead.

Anyone caught violating the water restrictions rules will face a $50 first-time fine and then $100 for each subsequent offense.
