BONDURANT, IA — Lundeen Auto Detailing, which was opened by Tim Lundeen five years ago, was recently profiled in the DesMoines Register.
The May 7 profile stated that Lundeen's father was involved with the carwasing business and his brother specializes in vehicle reconditioning.
“It’s something I’ve always been around,” Lundeen said in the story. “I’ve been around vehicles all my life and involved in vehicle restoration in one form or another for 30 years.”
Lundeen said he specializes in sports cars and hotrods, but will detail all types of cars as well as boats and campers.
When asked what it is customers like about his business, he said he works hard to make sure each vehicle looks the best it can. "You have to hit every nook and cranny and get into the places hands don’t fit," he said in the story.
In terms of his favorite vehicle he's detailed, he said it was a 1978 silver anniversary Indianapolis pace car Corvette.
