TUCSON, Ariz. — Mister Car Wash completed the acquisition of Downtowner Car Wash in St. Paul, growing its number of Minnesota locations to 18, according to a press release.
“The Downtowner Car Wash is an iconic site situated in the heart of St. Paul,” said Bruce Schumacher, vice president, strategic initiatives. “It was a pleasure working with Jay and Michelle Montpetit to acquire this full service carwash and lube, providing our existing customers with a new location and our express customers from West St. Paul interior cleaning options.”
“We’ve been operating next to Mister Car Wash locations for many years and have seen firsthand their commitment to their employees, customers and communities,” said Jay Montpetit, owner of Downtowner Car Wash. “When looking to sell our business, there wasn’t a question about who the right partner would be. With this latest acquisition, Mister Car Wash now operates 203 carwashes in 19 states, the release stated.
