ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C. — A new Sheetz store will open Feb. 19, according to the Daily Herald.
The location will feature a carwash, fuel pumps and a restaurant with a drive-thru, noted the article. Drive-thru visitors can order anything in the store besides alcohol and lottery tickets.
Customers can use touchscreens to order specialty coffees, sandwiches, salads and smoothies, stated the article.

Also on the restaurant’s menu are burgers, Mexican fare and baked goods, shared Jamie Gerhart, Sheetz’ site selector, in the article.
The facility will employ about 30 workers, reported the article. “We’re always glad when any business opens and creates jobs,” said Allen Purser, president/CEO of the Roanoke Valley Chamber of Commerce, in the article. “And it will give people choices on different options.”
