WASHINGTON — Water professionals from around the country have assembled for Water Week 2015, April 12-18, according to a press release.
Professionals will meet with legislators and regulators about policies and developments affecting current water issues, noted the release.
According to the release, “Topics will include: water utility financing; innovation; affordability; nutrients; water reuse and resource recovery; energy efficiency & renewal; integrated planning; water quality criteria; stormwater; and more.”

The event is organized by the National Association of Clean Water Agencies, the Water Environment Federation, the Water Environment Research Foundation and WateReuse, stated the release. Localized water organizations have also supported the event.
The week will feature speakers, roundtable dialogues, an expo and more, reported the release. Speakers include several government officials including the Honorable Gina McCarthy of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and others.
