CAIRNS, Australia — According to www.cairnspost.com.au, a 32-year-old woman was charged with one count of willful damage and committing a public nuisance offense at a carwash.

A couple was washing their van at the carwash when the woman allegedly approached them, the article continued, and proceeded to ask for money.

However, the couple refused, so the woman stole the money they had placed on the carwash machine, the article noted.

The man stopped the woman and demanded she give his money back, the article stated, but then the woman reportedly picked up a metal pole and chased him before smashing the rear window of the couple’s vehicle with it.

Police later found the culprit in the parking lot of a nearby shopping center, the article concluded.
