MISSOULA, MT — A human body part found by a customer inside a carwash here, according to The Missoulian.
The October 1 story said the body part apparently belonds to 81-year-old Elgie Bedford, the victim of a fatal hit-and-run.
According to Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Bill Bullock, Bedford may have been walking from a vehicle found near the scene when he was hit and he may have been hit again and again after that.
Park County Coroner Al Jenkins looked for evidence at the carwash and vacuumed water from a floor drain and also looked through a vacuum filter.
Police are still searching for clues and said the carwash owner does not have surveillance cameras.
