MT. PLEASANT, OH ― A once profitable self-serve carwash here had been closed down for five years after the owners passed away, but it's now open once again for business with a new owner, according to a Times Leader report.
The May 19 story said Steve Schubert purchased the wash, now called Schubert's Car Wash, last December.
Since December, Schubert has replaced or updated the equipment, installed new LED lighting and added new vending machines.
There are three bays in total and one is capable of washing large trucks. An automatic bay might be added eventually.

"I am going to make sure to keep this facility cleaned and properly maintained," Schubert said in the story. "People aren't going to want to come wash their vehicles and have to step through mud."
