NORTH CHESTERFIELD, Va. — While giving out free carwashes as part of the Nov. 11 Grace For Vets, Flagstop Car Wash also supported Disabled American Veterans (DAV) during the event, according to the release.
Flagstop collected money the entire day of the event, said the release. The carwash encouraged contributions to the group by giving free washes to anyone who donated.

In all, more than 1,100 free washes were given away to military and donating customers, and $2,187 was collected for DAV, noted the release.
DAV plans to put the money toward its annual 5K-Walk for Disabled Veterans on April 25, reported the release. The event is a fundraiser to provide local veterans with department service programs, women veterans programs, homeless/welfare and relief programs, family assistance, transportation and more.
Flagstop plans to work with the group again in the future, stated the release.
