MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Family members are grieving, after DeAngelo Watkins was shot and killed on Thursday while washing his car at a carwash, according to station WMC.
Watkins had a son, who was 8 years old. He worked as a forklift driver, according to the article.
“[DeAngelo] was here for his son,” said his sister LaCasha Watkins. “You mean to tell me … you had the nerve to take my brother’s life away?”
Police do not have a suspect or a motive at this time.
