Moo Moo raises money for DARN

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The event also provided 4,300 free carwashes.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Moo Moo Express Car Wash has announced the donation of $9,171.61 to Bexley’s Developmental Assets Resource Network (DARN), according to a company press release.

The donations were collected from Bexley Moo customers at the company’s Grand Opening/Free Wash Week, which was held on Oct. 12-18 and resulted in more than 4,300 free carwashes, added the release.

During the event, continued the press release, Moo Moo Express offered a free “Crème De La Crème VIP” carwash ($18 value) to every customer in exchange for a monetary donation to Bexley’s Developmental Assets Resource Network, noted the release; Moo Moo also offered discounted retail gift cards with all proceeds donated back to the DARN.

“It is always our goal to leverage our customers and their generosity to help us give back to the communities in which we operate,” said John Roush, CEO of Express Wash Concepts and founding partner of Moo Moo Express Car Wash. “We hope that in addition to raising funds to help DARN continue their valuable programming initiatives, we successfully raised awareness for their organization and highlighted how much of an asset they are to the Bexley community.”

Bexley’s DARN leverages community assets to support local children and families; in addition to providing financial assistance and facilitating the redistribution of material assets, DARN also advocates for equitable city and educational policies that position all Bexley children with the opportunity to thrive, added the release.

Through collaboration with local government and education organizations, DARN works to ensure community members have access to community resources regardless of their financial situation, concluded the release.
