Private equity firm acquires Splash Car Wash

GREENWICH, Conn. — The acquisition is part of Splash’s growth strategy.

GREENWICH, Conn. — According to www.petrolplaza.com, Palladin Consumer Retail Partners has acquired Splash Car Wash, which is based in Greenwich and has 18 locations in Connecticut and New York.

Splash Car Wash offers a full bevy of services, including full service, hand, express and self-serve washing as well as quick lube services, the article continued.

Palladin, founded in 1998, has helped to build numerous consumer and retail platforms, the article noted.

The portfolio team, led by Managing Director Anders Petersen and CEO Mark Schwartz, will work to expand Splash’s presence, the article added.

“We have spent over a year researching the carwash industry and identified Splash as a leading regional carwash operator and the perfect anchor acquisition,” said Petersen.

“Being able to work with them marks a critical next step in our growth strategy. Their expertise, support and leadership will provide creative insights and operational improvements that will be instrumental in becoming a major regional and national platform,” said Mark Curtis, CEO of Splash.
