DESTIN, Fla. — According to starfl.com, an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputy caught a woman parked in a carwash stall trying to shoot up.
When the deputy approached her parked car, he could see her preparing to inject a loaded syringe, the article stated.
But when he knocked on the window, he startled her, causing her to drop the syringe, the article noted.
The deputy read her her rights, the article continued, and she admitted that she had been about to inject herself with K1, or Dilaudid, which is a controlled substance.
The deputy found other drugs and related items in her vehicle, the article noted.
The woman also told him that she had been a methamphetamine user, the article concluded.
