DE PERE, Wis. — Saving water is increasingly important, and washes can use "The Mizer" to help with it, according to a press release.
The Wave Carwash installed The Mizer, which is a solution distribution and application system that regulates the flow of water and solution, as part of its water savings process.
“With the Mizer system we noticed not only savings in chemical but we are also saving a significant amount of water use per car,” said The Wave Carwash owner, Mike Opitz.
Water reclamation and regulations
The carwash reclaims over 75 percent of the water used in the wash process, and was given the Best New Business of the Year award in 2005 by Thurston Economic.
The Mizer was developed by Solutions Application Systems (SAS).
