The Oct. 23 story stated that a mysterious metal box was found after someone cleaned out their car and left. The carwash owner said the ashes were near of of the bays, and when no one claimed the ashes, he turned them in to the Ocean Beach Mainstreet Association.
The box only had one clue, a sticker that said the ashes belonged to someone who was created in 1995. It ended up that the box contained the ashes of Henry Efebvre, a man who has been dead for 17 years.

Online databases, obituary listings and Google searches have not turned up any results for Efebvre, and the crematorium has no records since it has been longer than 10 years. A document that is sometimes placed inside the box could provide more clues.
