BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Every week, the editors of Professional Carwashing & Detailing select a video from around the Web to raise awareness, spread education and/or share ideas from around the industry.
Featured on the International Carwash Association’s (ICA) website, this week’s video highlights Prime Shine Car Wash, which is a member of the ICA WaterSavers program.
Founded in 1991 by Evan Porges, the carwash has been a member of the ICA program for more than 20 years and strives to make a difference by conserving water.
“The company was founded on the concept of saving: time, money and water,” said Porges in the video. “So eliminating all waste as much as possible is the most fiscally and environmentally responsible way to operate our company.”
According to ICA’s website, the WaterSavers program is “designed to help professional carwashes promote their environmentally responsible business practices.” Learn more about the program by visiting its website, www.carwash.org/watersavers.
