SAN BENITO, TX ― A man allegedly kidnapped another man at knifepoint while at a carwash here, according to an Action 4 report.
The July 30 story said the alleged kidnapper is now behind bars.
The incident took place around 3 p.m. last Friday when 35-year-old Gustavo Tijerina pulled into the carwash and demanded that another man get into his car. He apparently told the victim that he would stab him if he did not comply.
Tijerina then drove down the street and the victim was able to jump out of the vehicle and went and got help.
The reason for the kidnapping is still unknown.
