Stoner Inc. announces acquisition, adds eco-friendly products

QUARRYVILLE, Pa. — Stoner Inc. manufactures high-performance products for the automotive, industrial cleaning, molding and residential industries.

QUARRYVILLE, Pa. — Stoner Inc. announced the acquisition of Mötsenböcker’s Lift Off®, according to a press release.

Located in San Diego, California, Mötsenböcker’s Lift Off® will add more than 10 new environmentally friendly product offerings for professional and consumer use, stated the release.

These new offerings include patented, green removers for stains, paints, adhesives, varnishes and caulks, reported the release.

The acquisition was finalized on July 31, continued the release, and the Mötsenböcker’s Lift Off® products will be distributed through the Stoner Inc. facilities located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

“We are pleased to add Mötsenböcker’s Lift Off® to the Stoner portfolio of brands,” said Robert Ecklin Jr., president of Stoner Inc., in the release. “Motsenbocker’s innovation in the sustainable product arena allows us to serve our customers desiring environmentally safe products while maintaining the high quality and performance they expect from Stoner brands. We look forward to continuing the ingenuity Dr. Gregg Motsenbocker has demonstrated over the past 35 years.”

Motsenbocker will continue to have an active role in future product development, noted the release.

“This is the next step in my professional journey, which will allow me to continue to do what I am passionate about, research and development. I am excited to be working with a company that is still young and growing and that also opens the door for me to work on the automotive side of the industry,” stated Motsenbocker in the release.
