SAN ANTONIO, Texas — According to www.news4sanantonio.com, a 35-year-old man was robbed after being held at gunpoint and zip-tied at a carwash on Oct. 25th.
“When I saw that gun, the only thing that popped into my mind was do as they say and you’ll see your family again,” the victim, who did not want to be identified, said.
While pointing a pistol at him, the bandits forced the man to the ground, stole his money, credit cards, driver’s license and car keys, the article continued; then, while still pointing the gun at him, they forced him into his car, where they zip-tied his hands together.
“He wasn’t just holding the pistol down, he had it ready for use, pointed at me so I knew, the only way that I’m going to potentially get through this is by doing what they ask of me,” said the victim.
A short time after the incident, authorities responded to an additional armed robbery at a separate carwash, the article noted.
A police officer at the scene said that the two crimes were part of a connected theft-spree, the article concluded.
