CHICAGO — The Carwash industry has been around for 100 years, and the International Carwash Association (ICA) has a celebration planned to commemorate the milestone.
There are three parts to the celebration, a Facebook page, a special magazine, and The Car Wash Show, which will take place at the House of Blues in Chicago.
ICA CEO Eric Wulf says this is a special milestone for the carwash industry. “We’re looking forward to sharing stories and celebrations throughout the year, particularly through social media and our magazine.”

The 100-year anniversary is an opportunity for the industry to look back to the past, and see how the business has evolved. “It was the perfect time for us to take a fresh look at where we’ve come from, where we are, and where we are going as an industry and association,” said Wulf.
