Submissions open for the 2018 Top 50 List

AKRON, Ohio — The deadline for submissions is Sept. 14th.

AKRON, Ohio — The Professional Carwashing & Detailing team is preparing the 2018 Top 50 list of the largest conveyor carwash chains in the U.S. based on number of locations.

Do you own multiple conveyor carwash locations and think you can make it onto this year’s list?

In order to be considered, please send the following information to Editorial Director Rich DiPaolo at [email protected] by Sept. 14th:

  • The name of the carwash chain
  • Website address
  • Number of locations
  • The location of the carwash’s headquarters or where the first location was opened.

Any conveyor location scheduled to open before Nov. 1st can be included in the total.

In a turn of events from recent years, 40 percent of the 2017 top 10 were new to the rankings, with the 2017 top five featuring: Mister Car Wash, International Car Wash Group, Zips Car Wash, Autobell Car Wash and Wash Depot Holdings.

Of further note is the fact that there were 183 more locations in just the top 10 carwashes compared to the 2016 list (from 575 to 758) — a 32 percent increase.

Which carwash chains will make it into our 2018 Top 50? Stay tuned for PC&D’s November issue to find out.

And, if you’re curious to see what’s changed over the year, you can compare the 2017 list to the current contenders in our Top 50 Map, a living document based on the 2017 list and subsequent press releases.
