NORWOOD, MA — A Rojo’s Car Wash employee was arrested and charged with seven counts of fraud, the Norwood Bulletin reported.
The Nov. 7 story said Joel Giron, 64, is accused of double-charging a company’s corporate credit card.
“(Giron) had been double swiping credit cards and committing theft from a local business,” Police Chief Bill Brooks said in the story. “He would swipe the credit card multiple times, and pocketed the difference, keeping the money. …He was stealing from a business conducting transactions with the gas station."
Brooks didn't give a total amount of how much was stolen, but said it could be several thousand dollars.
