JOHOR BARU, MALAYSIA — Thirty volunteers took part in a carwash fundraiser at the Pit Stop Car Wash Centre here in support of a group that helps children in need, The Straight Times reported.
The Sept. 27 story stated that friends, regulars, business owners and politicians paid the 10 Malaysian Ringgit fee for the wash, though almost everyone gave more. The fundraiser brought in 3,577 Malaysian Ringgits.

The wash fundraiser is just one of many different events the Rotary Club plans throughout the year. Because of the wash event was so successful, the club plans on having it annually.
