COLUMBIA, Mo. — The Wildcat Capital Management portfolio brand acquired eight Tidal Wave locations.

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Club Car Wash announced in a recent press release that it has acquired eight express wash locations from St. Louis, Missouri-based carwash chain, Tidal Wave Express Car Wash.

The brand has also partnered with Tidal Wave Express’ CEO to continue to accelerate its growth throughout the region.

Eight operating Tidal Wave Express locations, spanning from Fenton, Missouri, to O’Fallon, Illinois, along with a ninth currently under construction site in St. Charles, Missouri, will be rebranded to Club Car Wash, bringing the total number of Club sites in the St. Louis metropolitan area to 23.

The transaction excludes three full service Tidal Wave Wash Center carwashes with convenience stores and fuel stations.

“We are excited to add these high quality locations and people to the Club Car Wash family and expand our growth in the St. Louis market,” said Rollie Bartels, CEO of Club. “As the ‘Official Car Wash’ of the St. Louis Cardinals, we are committed to our customers in St. Louis and look forward to serving more of the community.”

Tidal Wave CEO Mace Nosovitch commented, “Partnering with the Wildcat Capital Management team and Club Car Wash felt like the right next step in the evolution of Tidal Wave Express Car Wash … it pairs our premier locations and expansive pipeline of future locations with Club’s best-in-class operational model and provides tremendous career growth opportunities for our employees. We are excited to join the team and grow the St. Louis market and beyond.”

The transaction brings Club Car Wash’s express carwash portfolio to 109 operating locations throughout the Central U.S. with plans to reach nearly 140 locations in 2022.
