Detail center to raise funds for local food bank

BELMONT, MA — The carwash and detail center will donate $1 for every car washed on Saturday, Dec. 15.

BELMONT, MA — The Belmont Car Wash & Detail Center is again participating in the annual Gifts of Hope campaign, wickedlocal.com reported.

The Dec. 4 story stated that the campaign will benefit the Belmont Food Pantry, and the wash will donate $1 for every car washed on Saturday, Dec. 15. The wash will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Detail center hosts American Cancer Society carwash

Last year, 183 cars were washed during the fundraiser, but the wash donated $500 to the Gifts of Hope campaign.
