AKRON, OH ― Three gunmen fled a self-serve carwash when a 79-year-old man started dialing 9-1-1, The Beacon Journal reported.
The Dec. 19 story said the gunmen approached the elderly man along with his 72-year-old wife and ordered them to get on the ground of the self-serve carwash.
The man then started to call 9-1-1 and the three men fled on foot.
The incident took place around 10 p.m. on Tuesday night.
