HAWICK, SCOTLAND — When motorist James Rankin, 54, pulled into a carwash here, employees noticed he could not punch in the proper numbers into the computerized greeter, according to The SouthernReporter.
The Jan. 10 story said the employees then noticed a strong smell of alcohol and alerted police.
When police got to Rankin they found he was twice the legal alcohol limit.
Drunk driver gets truck stuck in carwash
Rankin now faces a 12-month driving suspension.
