PENSACOLA, FL — Four crews from various stations here were called to a local carwash when an employee got caught in the roller, reported.

The Jan. 16 story stated that the 21-year-old employee’s foot got trapped in the steel track used to guide customer vehicles inside the tunnel. Part of the steel had to be removed by the fire department to free the man.

The 45-minute call at Rich’s Car Wash required fire crew members from West Pensacola, Osceola, Ensley and Brent stations, the story noted. “Usually on an extrication there are two units called,” Deputy Chief Paul Williams said in the story.

The crews were able to extract the employee from the track, and he was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital for treatment.
