FRAMINGTON, N.M. — The Grease Monkey® and Monkey Shine center celebrated its grand opening Sept. 24-26 in Farmington, according to a press release.
The event kicked off with a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Farmington Chamber of Commerce, stated the release.
Special offers and activities were available throughout the weekend, continued the release, which included free carwashes, oil change specials and a grand prize giveaway of a 50-inch TV.
Dog wash services were also offered during the grand opening event, added the release.
The new location features a comfortable seating area with a TV for customers to lounge while their cars are being serviced, reported the article, and the center is owned and operated by Chris Beal, Ken Stevens and Steve Miller.
“We are excited to bring the international franchise to Farmington,” said Beal in the release. “The complex has been remodeled to offer more services that area drivers need and greater comfort and lobby amenities for customers.”
The Grease Monkey center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., noted the article, and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
