SANDUSKY, Ohio — A shooting at a Perkins Avenue carwash has led to seven years in prison for Marcus Campbell, according to the Sandusky Register.
The 26-year-old pleaded guilty to one charge of felonious assault and having a weapon under disability in March, and was handed his sentence on Monday.

The man Campbell shot, Bartt Carruthers, was also arrested recently for aggravated menacing. He is reported to have called the jail Campbell is in and told a corrections officer: “Make sure Marcus Campbell has a flak jacket on when he goes to court Monday.”
The shooting stemmed from a robbery attempt by Campbell at the wash, which escalated into gunfire.
Campbell is currently serving time for past charges, and isn’t scheduled to be released until 2022, the article stated.
